Work in Progress

‘Work in progress (on a painting) is often a painful experience - it is like pulling teeth’, says Panagiotis Protopsaltis.

‘You add one colour and then another and if something looks strange in a work you have to wait and see later on with different conditions … you then change one thing and often another thing needs to change … so patience is the name of the game and this goes against my temperament but I can assure you that it gets easier with age’ he adds with a wry laugh.
